Alix Smith graduated in 2005 with an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. In the same year she was selected by ArtReview magazine as one of the best emerging photographers internationally. In September 2004 she was chosen for the Art + Commerce Festival of Emerging Photographers. In 2005, she received a Marie Walsh Sharpe Studio Grant and in 2006, she was chosen for the Tina B. Prague Contemporary Art Festival for a show entitled "Our Generation." In 2007 she was invited to participate in the Artist Pension Trust managed by Pamela Auchincloss. In 2008, Saatchi magazine's Critic's Choice, chose her to exhibit at the Pulse Art Fair in New York. Smith lives and works in New York City. Her work has been shown in exhibitions in New York, Naples, Milan and Prague.

Rosalind Solomon was born in 1930 in Highland Park, Illinois. Solomon’s photographs are in the collections of over 50 museums. Her work has been shown in nearly 30 solo exhibitions and in 75 group exhibitions. Over the years Solomon has been represented by Sepia International Inc., the Neikrug Gallery, Light Gallery, Lieberman and Saul, Rick Wester, Steven Kasher, the Foley Gallery, and Zabriskie in Paris, among others. Her photographs may be seen at Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto. Currently, Solomon is represented by the Bruce Silverstein Gallery in New York.
